A Bed and Breakfast
   in Paparoa
on the Kauri coast

Your hosts

Your hosts, Deb and Kevin.

We were told all roads lead to Paparoa. Now, we are starting to believe it. We discovered that the lady who bought my previous house worked at this very Post Office and lived just a few metres up the road and that my great grandmother and uncle are buried at Pahi. A very old friend of Kevin’s father helped to set up the Matakohe Kauri Museum just six kilometres down the road. We are realising that there are connections all around.

Kevin and I took over The Old Post Office Guest house at the end of September 2010. Kevin ran the guest house while I finished teaching English at Long Bay College. It is a lovely thing to see a man in cleaning gloves. However, we are both here now and looking forward to meeting you and accommodating our guests in old world comfort and charm.
